DAX Patterns

Improve your DAX skills by learning DAX Patterns directly from one of the authors of the DAX Patterns web site on this 2-day course. DAX Patterns is a collection of ready-to-use data models and formulas in DAX, which is the programming language of Power Pivot and SSAS Tabular. Create your Excel data model faster by using a DAX pattern!

Alberto Ferrari will explain the more used patterns to solve common business scenarios, explaining how they work internally and how to adapt them to your own specific model. During the course, you will be able to play with existing sample models and to discuss possible customization with the teacher.

Attendees need to have a basic knowledge of PowerPivot for Excel or they need to be familiar with the SQL Server Analysis Services Tabular modeling and have produced at least some basic reports.

You will require a laptop with Excel 2013 and Power Pivot installed. You will recieve free a copy of the DAX Patterns 2015 book.
